I've never known what a blog is.
Binary LOG? That wouldn't make tonnes of sense.
Am I to expect others to read my blogs?
Will this appear anywhere on kerneltrap.org that is
accessable to others? (Hello everyone)
My Debian GNU/Hurd J2 CDs are in the post, should be
arriving some time this week.
That's all the news.

Oh. Now I know (reply to self)

I know now. (sorry for polluting the blogs with this.)

Yes, it will appear HERE.

Pretty exciting stuff eh?
Really. I've been reading about the Hurd and following the mailing
lists for about a year now. From what people are saying, it is
stable and feature-complete enough to use as a desktop system. I'm
not sure what GUI software it has but I hear Xfree86 works fine. I'll
probably start using the console more; Emacs, gcc, guile, perl and
all the good packages reportedly work fine.
This will be my last blog for a while ;p

Please, elobarate a bit more. I'm still not sure what is it good for.
What is a blog good for...
Little bit of research, here's what a blog is:
http://www.drupal.org/node.php?id=280
Like an online diary, for posting rants, thoughts etc.
I still don't know what "blog" means though, babble log?
Re: What is a blog good for...
Ah, thx! Still I wonder were it would go? To the front page? The menu entry "Latest blogs" the Drupal site refers to doesn't exists - at least for me.

I think the "user blogs" menu item is the kerneltrap term for
"Latest blogs" as it shows the most recently posted blogs.
Other than that, when you look at someones profile you can view their
blogs. I think these are the only places they go.
(at one point I thought I saw a way to vote for blogs but I can't find
it now so I must have been imagining it)
its short for
WebLog
right, that's everything sorted then
Right then, that's everything sorted, we can all go home for tea now.
(thanks)
and it's going on...
...so what?
