CFQ needs to support virtual block devices (device mapper!)
There IS a pending issue to resolve regarding CFQ! It needs to support dm-crypt'ed block devices... I'm working on a completely encrypted harddisk and it is really annoying to have no CFQ restraining my background processes from taking away disk IO bandwidth...
