The CPU in OLPC is not descended form K7/Athlon family. The architecture is originaly the Cyrix developed MediaGX, renamed to Geode by National Semiconductor who bought it and later sold it to AMD. Yes, AMD has Geode CPUs based on K7, but those are different (Geode NX IIRC, while the MediaGX based chips in OLPC are Geode LX). I guess it's 32bit only as well.
