Sure DRBD and GFS has been working now smoothly ofr over 3 months on a centos 5 two node cluster.
I dare not claim I configured it. It was configured by one Shri Kaustubha Kale (kmale @ anantcorp.com). The site is http://www.vpmthane.org
Please Click on the "Dr. V. N. Bedekar Institute of Management Studies"
There are about 80 Thin clients running off it.
As of now it has had an uptime of 19 days. In India there is a power outage for periods ranging from 10 minutes to 4 hours. And the The State which housed Bombay city is the worst affected. almost every day. We added a new 5 KVA UPS about two week back with 4 hours backup for the servers alone.
Of course no fencing device. One needs to gfs_fsck everytime the system boots and then mount the partitions.
